I purchased several items in the store, the one item that wasn't in stock was ordered for me by the gentleman helping us. He was great, knew a lot about helmets and rider commissions products. Very helpful.

Ordered a tire through Cycle Gear at the store. Fast delivery to the store within a couple of days. They were able to mount and balance my tire that same day I brought the tire, excellent customer service and very professional. Definitely recommend.
I looked in the notes when I bought the Jacket liner and gloves and nothing said "buy a battery harness" so I had to go back and order one. I think it would be helpful to point out things I might need that I will not have if I have no experience with heated gear.

I saw this overshirt at BikeWeek in Daytona, but they didn't have my size. I immediately ordered it. I've been riding for 30 years, and am admittedly lax about riding gear. Now that I have little ones watching and learning, I needed something that would keep me protected, but also comfortable. This fits the bill.
First, I had the pleasure of meeting Ami who graciously assisted me by repairing my helmet. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. Her patience in answering all my questions and showing me products helped me understand what would be a better fit for me. Also, Erwin was a wealth of information. He's always pleasant to speak with and attentive. This will always be my go to location whenever in need of accessories.
I buy a lot of gear and CycleGear is my go-to. Always a great selection and the shipping is always fast. Easy returns and exchanges if needed too.

I have been a Cycle Gear customer for some time. I always enjoy the experience, be it in person, online, or a hybrid transaction. Shipping is fast, as well as delivery to my residence. The selection is always good in stores, but fast order fulfillment saves the day in the isolated situation where a particular size is not in stock locally. These are the folks I go to first for any riding gear.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I needed a full set of gear. They helped me get fitted for my specific needs. I didn't feel rushed and they weren't pushy with trying to get me to buy a bunch of extras.
I've always come Cycle Gear to change out my tires. Always been happy with go service. On this last order though, my Pirelli angel Gt tires came on quick as usual. Tire change only took a day. However the actual tire install experience was less than perfect.
For the first time ever, Cycle Gear nicked/scratched my rim. I was very disappointed to see this. In fact I let the rep know about the scratch and he said that the order notes stated that the rim already had "light scratches".
That said, I take care of my rims and the scratch was pretty significant and deep (down to the metal) and I am sure it was not on there when I took it on as I am very meticulous about my bike.
In any case, I guess I'll just chalk it up as a loss, but I doubt I will be back to my next tire change.
Perhaps if Cycle Gear reads this an reaches out to me we can re-establish our relationship. If not, I'll have to take my business elsewhere which is a shame since they typically have provided quality service in the past.
We received our order so quickly, I was shocked. I didn't pay extra for fast delivery. I ordered it late in the day, and it arrived two days later. Great jacket, just as advertised. This is my second order and each time it's been a great experience.

Lonnie and team are always world class, helpful to the end of their ability and then some. Even if they don't have the exact piece I need there, they find a way to get it in store or delivered to me!
The website is easy to navigate, and robust with bike specific information to limit ordering the wrong parts. I redeemed a gift certificate without any problems, and I had CG ship it directly to my mechanic. Worked perfectly!

Corey in Novi was spot on in getting me a better helmet and better fit for about the same money I had originally wanted to spend. I'm a senior rider and have gotten back into riding via E-bikes (that go Motorcycle speeds). All around it was a valuable learning experience. Can't wait to test out my new Cardo, helmet, gloves and protective shirt.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
