The 3.00 x 17 is not a tire CG carries in the stores near me, but by ordering them through CG, I had two new tire delivered to my home two days later.
Then I took them to the CG store to be mounted and balanced. A very quick and pleasant process.
I bought a tire for my bike and a helmet for my girl both perfect thank you cycle gear!
Called local Cycle Gear store to hold a Tech 5 Plasma in XL to try on. They had one in stock and put my name on it. When I arrived at store (20 mile drive), they had sold it. They gave me a different vest to try on, it fit and I ordered a Tech 5 to be delivered. Upon arrival it turns out the Tech 5 is not sized the same and it barely fit. I returned it to the store (another 40 mile round-trip) and was told by a different employee that I should have ordered a 3XL. We did a store exchange and they had a vest shipped in from a different store. It was mid-shipped to the wrong store and I'm still waiting after a week and a half to make yet another drive to ensure it fits and pick it up. This might have been avoided if everyone had been trained on proper Alpinestars fit. Even the Revzilla reviews said the Tech 5 fits to size. I wear XL jackets and suits from Klim, Aerostich, etc. with plenty of room and comfort.
I appreciate the RPM program. I am a regular customer of COMOTO and it's good to be able to get free shipping on products. Sometimes I have to be patient because fulfillment of one order may come from multiple fulfillment locations or even drop shipped direct from a company. These minor delays are understandable.
Before the Puig windscreen I ordered was shipped I decided I wanted to change it (I called the next day after ordering it). I was told it was too late to change it (it still didn't ship for several days after this). Seems like the customer service rep could have made more effort to assist me getting my order corrected. I had to order a second item.
Major winter storms delayed shipment. There was no hurry on my end. Received my shipment a few days late but I did receive it
Got this vest on clearance. It arrived the day after I ordered it. Couldn't get it to arm so took it to store. The associate Mason was familiar with all Alpinestar clothing n found a connector up in the color area I overlooked. When at store saw a sale on shoei helmet. He helped choose right style n size for me and I couldn't be happier. The best is really awesome. Great look and added safety of air bag system.
Arvind helped me with the process and workaround as I had double walled spoked rims for my adventure motorcycle. Accomodations were made to mount the tiers on wheels and back to be in 2 hours.
Whoever you guys used to ship my Michelin Commander3 front tire didn't put my apartment number on the order and it took too long and I missed a scheduled appointment to have it installed. Buy the back tire in store went great

Tires are great so far! They arrived at the CG location in a timely manner. Service was ok. They were able to install after being reminded.
Fellow Motorcycle enthusiast with good knowledge and great service approach
The product I order works fine. The only complaint I had was that the shipping cost Was almost the same amount as the product Which I could hold in the middle of my hand.
The order came in very very quickly. I went to pick it up at the local store. The customer service rep brought it out and while it was the exact one I ordered I really wanted one a little bit longer in length. Well, he had one in stock so I made up the difference in the price which is just a couple of dollars and I went on my way. Very, very pleased with the overall transaction, purchase, price, quality, etc..
Had my pants delivered to the store. The customer service at the store was great to help decided if the fit was right or if an exchange for a different size was needed.
I received the enduro pants when they were promised, and they look great. I had tried sizes on in the store, but my size wasn't available. These fit perfectly, and are the pants that I was looking for!
I had tried on pants in the local store, but the size I needed was not available.
It was very easy to order them online!
Needed a inner tube and Cycle Gear had it delivered to my front door 2 days later, no shipping fees, and I ordered it on a Saturday evening.love that they didn't hold that against me and take longer.awesome as always!
Quick and easy, just like my in store experience!
Kim and Chris were very helpful. I have very specific medical needs for finding a helmet.Kim helped me find a helmet that fit those needs within my budget. I thank you both.
Ordered Avon tires for my 06 Springer, and received a call two days later that they arrived at the store. Where I dropped off the wheels for mounting and balancing which was completed within an hour.
I accidentally ordered the wrong product but shipping experience was pretty seamless. Only concern I have was the website makes it seem like product will be available at my store within 24hrs, however, even though I ordered mid week, it still took about 3 days to get to my store, which threw off personal scheduling around pickup. It wasn't a huge inconvenience, and this is likely just a misunderstanding on my part
I prefer to visit a Cycle Gear store but the online shopping service was a big help to me for the purchase of non-stocked engine oil.
Since RevZilla and Cyclegear are affiliated, I thought I would take advantage of the discounted mounting/balances, buy the tire through them and be all good. I spend a good chunk of money with RevZilla and have had great experiences. Also bought a Shoei from this particular Cyclegear store last fall. This however was not a good experience. I live an hour from the nearest Cyclegear. When the tire arrived and I got the email confirmation, I called the store and asked if I could schedule a time, so I wouldn't have to drive a total of 4 hours to get a tire mounted. Nope, young man on the phone said they only do that if you go to the store to buy the tire. And he was rude - " Seasons starting and I've got 9 in front of you, you go to the back of the line". So I guess the few extra dollars they make selling them at the brick and mortar gives you priority. However, I can schedule a time to get my tires put on my car at the dealership, even when they have them on sale when you get the 4th free. Plus, the place kind of feels like a sport bike fanboy club. That's cool and all, but I'll stay away from Cyclegear from now on. This is like the third review I've ever left in my life. I had to though, how annoying. Fair warning for everyone.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
