There were unforeseen delays in the shipping of my purchase due to winter/cold weather; however, I appreciated the frequent updates from Sill about when my order would be shipped throughout the whole process. My only complaint is that when my plants arrived, some of them were very difficult to pull out of their decorative pot. The grow pot along with the extra paper padding surrounding the plant were squeezed really tightly into the decorative pot that it made it incredibly difficult for me to move the plant out of its decorative pot. I ended up accidently breaking the grow pot sightly in my attempt to get the plant out.

Condolence Card Missing

I wrote a condolence card that did not show up with the flowers. The recipient had to contact The Sill to find out who sent the arrangement. Not acceptable, especially when someone is going through a tough time.

Mermaid Tail Cactus is a beauty

The Mermaid Tail Cactus is such an unusual plant. I wasn't sure about a grafted cactus, but I love it and highly recommend it. Mine is the purple in a sage Isabella planter.

The customer service and communication were good. There was quick response to concerns and updates to transit questions. Delivery was slowed by recent snow and ice storms. The plants arrived 7 days later than expected, but the plants were in good but thirsty condition. This is because this company packs the plants well which protected them from harm due to a longer expanse of delivery time than was expected. GOOD JOB!

I appreciate the efforts with the delivery and wanting to send it when it got a little warmer out for that the plant doesn't die. There were some branches that were broken when I received the plant

When one of the plants I ordered was not in good shape, The Sill reached out letting me know they would be canceling that order and giving me the option of reimbursement or store credit. I so appreciated them doing that. The rest of my order was perfect. Thank you.

Experience was great, when concerned it was late, The Sill was very responsive! And even though it was later than anticipated, it still arrived in time for mine and my hubby's anniversary! 4 years, traditionally is fresh flowers and/or fruit, and well, his little Meyer lemon bush will give him fresh flowers AND fruit for hopefully years, and years to come!:-)

Got there late as a gift

This was estimated to arrive February 9. It didn't get here until well after Valentine's Day as a Valentine's Day gift. I asked for a partial refund due to the delay and was told no. This was extremely expensive and I won't be ordering from this site again.

When my order could not be shipped due to The Sill's concern about quality, I was offered the option of a replacement, credit or refund. I chose a replacement. The replacement was promptly shipped and arrived in excellent condition despite the severe cold and snow we have been experiencing. I have placed an order for three more plants which have already been shipped. Thank you again!

My experience with the website was very smooth. I was able to browse all the available plant options, choose the size I wanted, and select the pot style as well. There were many payment methods available, and as someone who doesn't live in America and simply wanted to send a gift, that helped me a lot.
The plant took 10 days to arrive, but it arrived in very good condition, and the pot I chose was as beautiful as it appeared in the pictures on the website. Whenever I needed help, the team responded quickly.
I requested a greeting card to be sent with my plant, but it did not arrive, and I do not understand why that happened.
My rating is 4 out of 5, and I believe I will continue to order from them whenever I need to send a plant in the future.

I ordered a Thai monstera for my boyfriend as a gift, he's been wanting one for awhile. It was delivered quickly, and was secure and insulated, arriving in perfect condition despite it being 20 degrees outside. He was ecstatic when it arrived and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and healthy it was, it has since thrived and produced even more beautiful leaves. I will be getting more plants from sill in the future without a doubt.

Amazing quality!

The 2 medium sized plants i ordered came wrapped in a heated wrap inside a box with air holes. They were so thoughtfully shipped! It's week 2 and theres no brown spots on them at all and they are already growing! I love that you can pick out your pot color too. I am definitely recommending to all my friends!

Recipient didn't know who sent the plants

Unfortunately, the two plants I sent to a grieving family were shipped from two different locations and arrived on two different days (with a weekend between). Neither had an indication as to whom they were from, so until I asked about them, they didn't know the plants were from us. I reached out to The Sill and was told that the "message" I had composed should have been on the packing slips of the plants, so either it wasn't in the package, or it wasn't prominent enough to be noticed. It might be worth consideration to have an enclosure card or something more noticeable when sending out plants as gifts. We'll be going to the funeral this weekend, so I might be able to see the plants when we are there. The family didn't indicate whether the plants were as expected or in what kind of condition they were received.

Great customer service

During a cold snap, the original order was delivered and the plant was damaged. Customer service responded immediately and sent a new plant at no charge, timing it to coincide with better weather for delivery.
