They asked for name and email address - within a second or two, my account was closed, with a confirmation number (which never happens), and boom I'm done! This service falls into the same category as so many others. Make a purchase, weather one time or trial, and you have unintentionally signed up for a monthly subscription. It did the job for me. That was good.

From what I've experienced, you may be enrolling in a subscription not a one-time search on this service site. I was charged $20.00 per month. I did get emails to view a receipt with no receipt PDF attached and a reference to log into account to view receipt. I've tried and didn't find a receipt. Maybe didn't search enough. My login took "Start New Search" not to an account.
Once I actually dug into the email and made a chat request to cx and refund they immediately gave me a one-month refund of $20.00. Beware of the details.

My experience getting a property record I requested and agreed to pay $7 for was fine. The fact that I was then billed $5 four times over the next several weeks and then $20 three times in 2026 was not a good experience. I never performed any other property searches or agreed to an ongoing fee to be billed to my credit card.
