Missing cash back resolved

Cash back only given to 1 item on my receipt, should have been 2. Contacted Cust Svc and they resolved the error and credited me the right amount quickly (within 4 hours)! Very satisfied.

The chat box is useless. Kept asking me the same question over and over and accomplished nothing. I purchased 4 cups of the remix oikos yogurt which the clerk had to manually enter because they had been reduced. They show up as dairy on my receipt. I scanned all the barcodes and they were accepted and then rejected. Missing four offers at $. 35 each or $1.40.
I also purchased six of the 10 pack polar seltzer product. It did not scan, even though I purchased exactly the item shown in the offer. Limit of five offers - missing $2.50 back

Receipt issues

My receipt didn't show date and time so it was rejected and I lost the receipt. But I was able to find the transaction and sent it in and boom Brenda was able to add my points. I just love ibotta.

Items rejected for cash back

3 boxes of Mom's Best cereal were rejected because your software says I've already submitted it. I purchased the 3 items yesterday 3/16/2026 from Kroger and submitted the receipt today 3/17/2026. Not sure how I could have already submitted the offer when I just got them.

No rebate for sumo

I submitted for 50 cent rebate for 1 Sumo orange. I did not receive it but I can not resubmit because the orange no longer has a sticker with a code to scan. I tried to deal with it thru the chat feature but cannot give specifics through chat which was frustrating.

I will scan an item and it says eligible offer and then when I submit receipt, Ibotta says ineligible offer. The pending receipts take so long to process.

App not recognizing product

Up until a month ago my rating would've been 4.75 stars. I started having glitches where the program was not catching products. In the past this issue has been poor internet due to my rural location.

Now it's all the time. I live too far away to mess with it. If it doesnt read the receipt in the parking lot then its not worth it since it now costs me over $9 for the round-trip.

I still recommend the app with the caveat YMMV.

Missing credits

I usually have my grocery receipt automatically submitted to Ibotta. This time it was not.
After much going back and forth with support, I finally got my credit.
I am grateful that the team strayed with me on this. I wasn't giving up and neither did they.
I wish I knew why this problem occurred so I could maybe prevent it in the future. My thanks goes out to all who helped!

Best app on my phone

The customer service you get from this app is not even comparable to the non existent customer service departments you get from 99%ยฎof the apps out there. If u have any kind of issue and email them u typically get a response within an hour. Sometimes a little longer. But they always get back to u and do watever they can to resolve ur issue. Every rep I have dealt with has gone above and beyond to help me fix things that more times then not were my fault... But they fixed them anyways.they r polite and friendly and I don't have one negative thing to say about this app. If I had to delete every app on my phone and could only keep 3 this would be one..

My most recent experiences have not been great - it's taking twice as long for my earnings to be approved and they are less than accurate. I check all the barcodes using the barcode scanner in the app to see if they match before purchase and then most recently, almost half of the purchases aren't recognized as valid - leading to me missing bonus earnings. It's upsetting when maybe I wouldn't have purchased an item except that it had Ibotta associated with it - and then to not receive the earnings that I rightfully earned - when groceries are SO expensive. It's frustrating.

Offers don't work

It is very frustrating that most of your offers don't work or you get product is ineligible despite the product being the exact same one featured in the offer - is this a scam?!
