I received my first pair of glasses quickly but they did not look right on me so I contacted customer service for an exchange. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and I sent the first pair back per instructions but then the emails just stopped. Even when I called the customer service number and explained the problem I have not been able to ascertain whether the new order is being prepared and when I might expect it. It's been very frustrating to be in glasses limbo for weeks!
This was the fourth pair I ordered throughout the past several years. Great quality!
My only concern this time was it took 5 weeks from the time ordered to when I received them. In the past, it was only 2-3 weeks.
I needed a replacement frame for my prescription sun glasses. Eyeglasses.com had the EXACT frames I was looking for. Took them to Stanton optical and they changed out the generic lenses with mine at no charge. They're perfect!
The first order I sent eyeglasses.com several years ago went great, but this time I felt like I was ignored. They didn't come as fast as the first time and I ended up sending several emails and telephone calls. I finally got the glasses after accelerating each email as more stressed but still no one called or replied. Communication was zero until I got a request for this review. I'll still use them again if needed as I was as happy with this order as the first. The product was exactly what I ordered. It was just slower and I could get no answers from anyone as to why. No communication at all.
I sent multiple online requests for follow up and was never contacted by your organization. Come to find out, after my own research, their was a problem with the address that the package was mailed too on your end. The shipping address was correct in the emailed order confirmation, but the package was shipped to a non monitored business P. O. in my home town that I had used many years ago. Due to your lack of communication I will not be using your service in the future. The glasses did meet my expectations.
I was able to find the frame I wanted and with cable temples. Easy to order and arrived in reasonable time.
I received my eye glasses. The only negative thing is that when I opened the box I noticed that one of the lenses was not in the frame. So I had to put it in myself which wasn't easy.
Very smooth experience and excellent customer service. Easy to replace lenses. Send them in and you'll get them back in under a week of delivery to them.
I'm in love with the new frames I ordered, they arrived quickly and service was above and beyond!
Went smooth with return & all! Would highly recommend this company as I have used it for many years and experienced no problems whatsoever!
These frames were out of stock the first time I came back this year. I bought a pair of flimsy glasses from China (yeah, I didn't realize that's where they were coming from when I ordered) and wasn't thrilled with them. Before Christmas I looked at eyeglasses.com on a whim and they were back in stock! Very happy with my purchase! 2nd time ordering from eyeglasses.com and I will be back!
Takes a little extra time to send from Washington state to Connecticut but the price and the results are worth it!
Could not reach anyone for two weeks. No response to two emails Worst on line order experience I have ever had. No contact since original order and it just showed up
I needed a frame that would fit my face with 135 temples and 19 for the bridge and 46 for the lens, and found it. It was a very pleasant surprise that the frames were also titanium (which I really wanted). So, I am very pleased with my shopping experience.
There could be improvements. Like allowing me to select the same features for lens as previous orders. Remembering which set of features for the frames is a bit difficult. Finding a frame is somewhat difficult. There's a lot and filtering doesn't surface what I'm looking for. I think the filter is to narrow? Needs to be loosened up a bit? I want small lenses but I put in a hard number for the size and that gives me 2 frames.
Received the frames. Found out I didn't need the frames. Returned the frames in perfect condition. The frames were never used.
I've been getting several pairs of my favorite P3 frames re-lensed with higher-end lenses here for several years now. Other than a rough start on my first order when I found I had to submit some specific requests in a very specific way to be handled correctly, they've been great. The final lenses have always perfectly matched my scripts, and arrived properly fitted to my frames.
But over the last two years the total cost has jumped nearly 30% for the same items and services. I paid the premium this year because I didn't have time to research the many alternative sites that I found. It looks like one big part of this is that their AR coatings cost 2x - 3x what I see others providers charging for the same brand and level of coatings. I tend to order three pairs of glasses each year, and if this trend continues, next year Eyeglasses.com will no longer be affordable. Here's hoping something changes so that won't be the case.
I had a problem with my daughter lenses. I wrote am email and the answer almost enmidietly. Answer all my questions and help me troughall the process. Highly recommended.
So far, so good. Looking forward to getting my new glasses!
Answer: If you have a significant correction like me their quality is poor! Go somewhere you can trust will have quality control and customer service to help if your lenses don't actually correct your vision.
Answer: They are legit; I've used them several times over the past decade.
Answer: Less than 2 weeks in my experience, which involved sending in my existing Ray Ban frame to have the new prescription lens installed.
