I have been dealing with CS for 2 weeks. You keep asking for invoices that don't exist. Example, you all have asked for tow records. My vehicle has never been towed, so how can I give you a tow record.
I do my own maintenance and have submitted invoices from Amazon where I purchased to oil and filter I used. Still not good enough. I have 2 policies, at $119.00 each. This is the first time I use this policy on my Truck and you all haven't helped. You keep asking for records but what I send in, isn't good enough. I don't know what else I can do.
For you folks that are thinking of getting CS. Think twice and do your research. One more thing.
Now I know why CS is under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission. CS settled for $9.6 million for misleading the public.

The rep assisted me appropriately. Only thing I would change is I wish I would have had a call from Car Shield themselves, letting me know i could get a decrease in my monthly payments.

I had an issue with my coolant in my engine. My car overheated I had it towed. I have paid in for five years into car shield and because it was a rubber gasket they refuse to pay for the repairs. So I'm not really sure why anyone would bother paying money to CarShield. I thought they were supposed to be there when you needed them. I saw it as an insurance policy. It's not that at all.

I was paying a really decent price for the vehicle I had covered, but once I got my newest vehicle, the cost was much higher. And I have better and cheaper coverage offers from other companies.

They contacted Car Shield. The next day Car Shield contacted me for approval.
Vehicle repaired. Car Shield covered.

Took my Tahoe in for a check engine light. Problem ended up being a faulty injector. The service facility found some other issues. This was presented to Car Shield then they sent an inspector out. The Car Shield inspector also find some issues and all suggested repairs were covered. Just be prepared to pay the cost difference on labor hours and parts at the dealer. I also had some other items fixed. I was very pleases with what Car Shield covered. Key Advice, make sure you have your maintenance records!

Everything got replaced so thats good, but on top of my deductible i had to pay the difference in labor cost with the shop and yall. I didnt have that problem previously but now i do, my plan states a $100 deductible for covered service

I can afford Premium hat was given. Try to give documents they ask for n seems like I gave them what was needed. It's a plus all the way around.

I called in to confirm the calls I have been receiving were not actually Car Shield and maybe I was mishearing what the people calling me were saying. The rep that answered at Car Shield was kind and actively listened to my concern. I have been getting calls staying they were from Car Shield and wanted to offer my a lower rate. The first few times I answered the mileage question and they would transfer me to a Sales Rep who could better assist me. When that sales rep would answer, they THEN STATED THEY WERE WITH ENDURANCE! After about 2 weeks of these calls, is when I called Car Shield to verify if they needed to speak to me or if they were aware of such calls being made! Car Shield assured me that my account was good and not to worry. He also asked got the number which has been calling me to turn it in to his supervisor so they could investigate further!

Paid CarShield over 2500 in 14 months of payments for coverage and then when I needed to have a transmission repaired on my car the claim was denied so I'm now stuck with a 6000 dollar repair bill. When I got the coverage my car had over 190,000 miles but because I couldn't prove any transmission maintenance at 150,000, I was denied any help. So for me I just flushed over 2500 down the toilet. This company is nothing but a bunch of liars. I just discovered back in Dec of 2025 the FCC fined them over 10 million for false and misleading practices. If you have coverage I would suggest you cancel and just bank your monthly payments or really read your contract coverage because they have placed a ton of loopholes in it so they can have the ability to deny your claim. This is just a terrible way to treat your customers. I'm going to file a complaint with the FCC, my state AG and the Insurance commissioner. CarShield is just a scam and run by con artists. They talk a good game to get you to sign up and then when you need help, you get the shaft.

My 2014 Toyota had sever suspension issues. Repairs needed were stabalizing bar control link, lower control arm and steering linkage. Car shield and repair shop did great job in coordinating work and getting me back on road.
