We love our blinds and they helped us where we had questions ordering. However they were a little more expensive than we had planned. We may or may not use American Blinds in the future.

We purchased Levelor brand uhymini blinds for our new home. All cuts were what we ordered. The shipment was packed very well so there was no damage. One blind was shipped without a wand and one wand was not functional.

We followed directions for measuring and with samples we ordered from your site, picked the blinds we wanted. They are beautiful and work perfectly! Thank you

I ordered two large Roman shades for two windows in my apartment. I'm a designer and have hung every kind of shade and blind in my forty years of design.
I was very pleased with the quality and the final look is great, but these were very difficult to install. Especially the oversized shade. The instructions were not at all clear and I had an experienced maint man help or I would have never gotten them installed.

So I would just advise that if you don't have experience installing or a good installation person, you might want to order elsewhere.

I liked the large selection of styles and colors and manufacturers. It was easy to navigate the site. The order arrived as scheduled.

The blinds are good value and fitted perfectly. They arrived 2 or 3 weeks before the due date.

Blinds arrive in timely manner. But one set of blinds does not fit. Off by a 1/4 inch

Key to getting it right: If the customer MEASURES (AND REMEASURES) CORRECTLY, the fit should be spot on.
In the almost 32 yrs we've been in our home, we've bought ALL of our blinds / shades from American. The styles, colors and options sure have changed over the years! Our recent purchase was for the large window in our master bedroom that we were updating. H: 57 1/4 x W: 69 1/2. Cordless, inside mount. And my favorite feature: top down bottom up. Love it!
I did order sample swatches and am glad I did due to the color. Online vs swatch in hand can be different. Definitely recommend ordering swatch samples.
Delivery was earlier than originally quoted.
Highly recommend American - we don't even bother checking anywhere else.

My three Roman Shades are just what I hoped for. They work well with the remotes and fairly easy to install.

Would have given 5 stars, but the blind has a memory on one side that makes it bounce back up a few inches when closed. Will have to contact customer service for recommendations.

Ordering was easy, shipping was ok. Ordered two identical wood blinds, they look great! One works perfectly, the other will not stay up, it gradually sags about six inches. Kind of annoying.
