TravelUp had the best prices online; however, within 1 day of booking through them I emailed to verify reservation information as the confirmation does not show all the details. I have emailed twice since booking as well as called, which the number does not work, and have yet to receive a response via either channel. Not sure if it's fraudulent yet. Waiting to contact the hotel directly and verify prior to leaving the country and not having proper accommodations.
The hotel in ensenada mexico could not find my resevation number.and I already pay for the hotel. They told me I didnt have a reservation on city express by marriot.
Because travelup dont add any extra name or information of the guest.
After a while they found the reservation number.
But I spend a bad experiencia at the check in.
In hotels.com I have never had, a problem at the check in of the hotels

Booking process was easy and prices unbeatable. I loved the fact that different room types could be booked in a bundle.

The website would repopulate each time something was selected. When it did that, it would either default to changing the number of people or date the date of the booking. After correcting the defaults 3 times… the booking was processed only to discover it had defaulted dates of resevations! So booked for wrong dates and finding phone number to call for assistance was no small task. That said, i have been on hold for over 30 minutes…. It would appear Customer service is in name only. I would suggest to just call the facility and book directly! I saved literally $0 and at this point, probably paying for a room on a date I will not be able to make use of.
I have been travelling for two days and have spent the last 24 hours trying to get a flight out of Newark airport. Because I am so exhausted I made a reservation through Travel up for the Crown Plaza for tonight only to find out that the reservation is for March 22nd not tonight March 16th. Website should be clear for customers. Will never use Travel up again.

I thought I had prepaid for the hotel with Travelup, but upon checkout, the hotel ended up charging me almost $100 in what they called "resort" fees.

They moved my hotel reservation to another hotel without notifying me and so when we arrived at 1am after 14 hour drive we were told we didn't have a room. And no phone number to call to discuss with anyone and no reply to my email and paid in advance so lost a bunch of money! DONT USE THIS--it's a scam!
It was troublesome. First, the date of my reservation was changed for friday to sunday to sunday to monday without notifying me. After paying without noting the change in the date, your notification arrived very late. I contact the hotel reservation service, but they told me that I have to contact you directly. This was impossible because you didn't answer my message. So, I proceed to put a claim on e-Bay and then you answer accepting to change the dates but only if I pay a higher hotel rate so that that your initial "especial rate was lost. You should improve your communication with clients and never take decisions without discussing them. Sincerely, I don't I wiil deal with your company again.
Booking process was fine but need to experience how actual checking in goes. Needing to print a voucher for the hotel is unusual with technology now. Could be problematic. 🤞
I purchased a hotel room. I contacted the hotel regarding my reservation and they did not have it. I contacted Travel up and heard no response on several occasions. I attempted to several more times to find if the hotel had my reservation and they did not. Three days before my trip I was told they are refunding my money because they could do my reservation. POOR customer service, POOR communication, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I still have not received my refund.
My booking was canceled without notice and asked to give an additional 200 dollars to keep reservation. Would never recommend site to anyone
It was an absolute terrible experience. When I presented at the hotel (La Quinta Bowling Green) they refused to accept my interim driver's license that the state of Tennessee provided me with when I had to go renew my driver's license so they showed me on there computer that they were canceling the reservation on their end no charge. I have several times been in contact with customer service and told that they were charged for that night and refusing to refund my payment
Travel I was ok but Virgin Rivers Casino was horrible. Was given room 4207 in the back of the property. When we checked into room it stunk, and rooms were very old and out dated. Looks nothing like pictures. We locked the door from inside and when we tried to leave to go out door jammed and we could not get out. I had a panick attack and we called front desk and maintenance had to climb thru window to get us out. We checked out within the first 1/2 hour we were there. Horrible hotel
It's the worse experience ever. I made a mistake on the date right after I had payed for the hotel and I immediately send them an email to see if I can change the date or at least have someone else use the day for me and they would t allow any changes. Went thru Travago. Travel up has the best price for the hotel I wanted. I got my reservation confirmed quickly. No problems. I'm happy.
Answer: Hopeless. They don't reply to emails. Can't get through on the phone. Useless. Better to forget about them and lose the stress. Have accepted I'll never see my money again.
