Searching for advice regarding parental control for phone use, I was initially impressed by their review of NetNanny as a best of 2023 product (mind you, when writing this it is Aug of 2023). After going through paying for the app and installing it on my child's phone, I find the app was made for an older version of Android. What? What a waste of time. Please update your research, Tom (name chosen by unknown marketing company to appear trustworthy to we simple consumers in the U.S.).
Unable to read sections of the article due to ads covering sections of text. Combine poor programming with greed and you get Tom's guide. More ads than there are text, and new ones pop up every 1.5 seconds. Blocked from any of my news feeds. Find proper journalism, not click bait facebook quizzes from these hacks.
Littered with stupid opinions and incompetent writers that think they know better than you. Spend your time on sites with writers that actually respect your opinions.
BOGUS TRAP. Everytime I went through the menu to order and select my preferences, price showed $199... UNTIL I went to agree to order and checkout. Then price jumped to $1199, every time! I chatted, and was told Samsung does not price match...?

Tom's gave this glowing review on Mozilla VPN and they couldn't be more wrong.
No matter what I told it where to go on at it always gave the City I was in.
I brought up maps to see the City I chose and instead they should my home LON & LAT numbers not to mentioned it slowed my service down from 500 mbs to 46, I canceled.
Would've been one of the best tech websites out there if not for the video ads littered all over the website. You practically wouldn't be able to open a single page on that website without be greated with a video ad. This is the same reason why I blacklisted a website like Goal.com.
People like me from a data conscious region, where data cost takes a toll on our finances, will definitely have no business using websites like Tom's Guide. Therefore, I am blacklisting it too.
Nothing wrong with this site. Good practical information. Get the tech questions and info you need. Also a safe excellent place to download some free software.
Excellent place if you looking for information on almost anything tech related. I visit this place often and almost always find an answer
