Apparently, the blacklist comes with a limit and I hate that. The blacklist shouldn't have a limit but, on this site, it does. There are better sites out there.
The staff on this site clearly never heard of the 1st amendment rights on freedom of speech. I didn't say anything wrong but that the really got to quit taking certain posts down next thing you know I was slapped with a permenant ban and a rather rude message from them when I tried logging in with my older account I once had back in 2015.
Apparently my account was breached and someone cracked my password and apparently threatened to DDos the site I tried explaining to the staff that wasn't me and showed actual proof yet they still refuse to unban me. This wasn't the only issue I had with this site tho they have actually took down multiple posts that was trans friendly and have also targeted users who were apparently trans by shadow banning them. Do yourself a favor and avoid using this site and e621 as these 2 sites are truly corrupted
Years ago ever since I first joined it, I had virtually no problems with it, but in recent years, I am extremely betrayed.
To start off with a simple fact, I fully acknowledge that there should be guidelines when it comes to tags, but I will argue if anything, there should only be SOME regulation. In the process, it has become FAR too easy to screw yourself and get banned off of the platform. In my case, I was banned for not just creating tags, but the other is using "invalid tags."
It is another disgraceful example of administrative and moderative overreach, and it pisses me off because as a result, people and I have to constantly walk on eggshells, which I really resent. It makes me lose faith in booru image boards in terms of those in power, because mods and admins cannot be held to account and being criticised. I tried to send an angry email to booru themselves, but nothing.
It is true that I have created tags, but here's the thing; the tags I made are well founded and established. And we are getting punished for those. At this point, I want someone to please give me much better alternatives/competitors to Rule34.xxx, as well as booru in general, because abuse of power and discipline have reared its ugly head. I just wish there are much better ways to hold these *******@55holes accountable and have them being susceptible to repercussions like anyone else.
My experience with the Rule 34 platform has left me with mixed feelings. While it undoubtedly serves as a hub for artistic expression and content sharing, my recent interaction with the administration has brought certain issues to the forefront.
The platform's stance on preserving the integrity of artists' work is commendable. Their decision to deny my appeal was based on their strict policy against unauthorized AI edits and similar alterations to original artworks. I can appreciate the need to protect the rights and creative expression of artists on the platform.
However, where my experience took a downturn was in the communication and tone of the response I received. While I accept their decision, I believe that a more understanding and transparent approach would have been more conducive to a constructive exchange. Mistakes can happen, and platforms like this should aim to be spaces for growth and improvement.
Furthermore, the admin's mention of "multiple images that do not meet image quality standards" raises concerns about consistency in content moderation. Without a clear and transparent process for evaluating content quality, it becomes challenging for users to gauge what is acceptable.
Ultimately, the platform's strict stance on the alteration of artists' works is understandable, but the manner in which it is enforced and communicated leaves something to be desired. I have decided that I cannot support a platform that lacks the openness and understanding I value.
In conclusion, my experience has led me to accept the decision made by Rule 34's administration, but I believe there is room for improvement in their approach to user communication and content evaluation. This review marks the end of my engagement with the platform, and I do not seek any further correspondence from the admin.
