This was used as a trial to understand what type of legal consulting agreement would look like - but found it to be too legally detailed for my need. Cancelled subscription but will keep note of this site if future needs for such detail is ever needed.

I love the walk-through approach to creating documents. I used it primarily for an LLC, and it was easy and smooth. The pricing is reasonable, though I imagine the periodic charges might add up over time, even those amounts are quite reasonable. I did not need any support, and worked through the creation of my main document with a friend/partner. We were able to answer all the questions, and ended up with a simple, straightforward, useable document. In sum, a very positive experience.

Thank you for your service, but after I used the form, I had to use the actual form from Dallas County Courts which is 10 pages with a 6 page checklist. Yours was much easier and planned out perfect for a guy who's not the best with computers. Thanks, Andy

I had to write a demand letter for payment of a loan from 3 yrs ago. Nice looking professional letter to hopefully get paid back or sue them in small claims court

I filled out my entire document just to find out that this is a paid only service. It's not even a good one either. Trying to place text where you need is extremely difficult when you have the page at its true scale. But if you zoom in, trying to move the box of text throws the page around all over the place. Making it extremely difficult to make your documents look neat. The signature option doesn't seem to work. I had to zoom in and just "draw" onto the document. I'm sure there are better options out there. I neglected to look into it beforehand, which is my bad.

This company charged my card without my authorization after I canceled the 7‑day trial. I never subscribed, yet they billed me four days later and refused to refund me. Customer service is terrible—just scripted replies, no real help, and no accountability. This feels deceptive and unprofessional. I would advise others to be very cautious.

It was missing some key information that was necessary in order to be processed in Massachusetts. For example, it missed certain key words or if you were going to give up your homestead rights. In addition, you're supposed to state precisely where the deed is located/registered in your county, and this template did not ask for it. Huge miss.

The form was easy to fill out. It did not have all the options I needed, so I still had to write in a couple of clauses myself. Maybe there should be a space for that on the form: special provisions.

Looks like it's free until after all the work filling in the form until time to print and credit card needed even for the zero trial. Later found out different counties require different forms and the one I got was wrong.

Despite canceling promptly, they still charged me $49.95 for the next billing period. I reached out immediately to request a refund or partial refund, explaining that I canceled only one day late and had not used the service at all beyond the trial period. I also explained that I never received any reminder that the trial was ending or that I would be charged. Many companies send a courtesy notice before charging, but LegalTemplates.net did not. Their response simply referenced their billing policy and refused any refund — even though the annual subscription is $119.88 (about $0.33 per day), making the $49.95 charge for a single day seem excessive and unfair. Pros: Wide selection of templates available during trial Cons: 1. No reminder before charging at the end of trial 2. No goodwill refund even when cancellation was just one day late 3. $49.95 charge feels disproportionate Overall, I expected better customer service and fairness. I would not recommend relying on the free trial without strict reminders — and I was disappointed that they would not make an exception for a very minimal post-trial period.

Pleasantly surprised the ease of use for this service. There are many templates to search through, and two options when building your template- a wizard, so it prints already filled out for you, or a blank template, that you fill out yourself. And options for what format you want to download them. I recommend it.

Great platform. Very easy to use Very easy to cancel or change your subscription. Really liked the opportunity to try free. Originally tried using an attorney for a simple financial POA, but they said it would take 2 weeks and didn't give a cost estimate. Was able to create exactly what I needed on LegalTemplate in about 10 minutes.

Before I retired I had used several companies over the years to provide legal documents. I just used Legal Templates and it was the best experience of all. Excellent rental lease template that was easy to fill and edit. Unlike some companies' products, I was able to add or delete verbage unique to my situation. Since I only needed one document and anticipate not needing any more for the rest of the year I used their free one week trial subscription and then cancelled. It was straight forward with no hassle. I just wish they had an option where one could pay by document. Thank you.

1) was able to edit individual sections, but format was hard to work with compared to google docs. 2) form could use better details, there were a bunch of missing points and data sections in the form

I quickly needed a Bill of Sale for a motor home. It took me less than 5 minutes to create and made it so much easier with no mistakes to correct thanks to being able to edit.

When trying to edit my legal template for more detailed information the text editor performed terribly by failing to load edits, wouldn't save edits after I clicked save, ruined formatting with random spaces between lines. It was a mess and test of patience trying to add my own edits onto the document. Please fix this issue or inform people of this before trying to charge them for you service

Very easy to navigate. Basically a fill in the blanks template. We used the traveling with a minor/medical consent form. Thoroughly written paperwork including area for notarization if needed. We really liked it.

Used the 7 day free trial. They dont trick you into paying for your download like other websites and they let me create and download multiple documents. The templates were easy to use and edit. If i need to create any documents in the future I will definitely be using this website.

I have used Legal Templates twice and it is MUCH cheaper than paying a legal team to draft these documents. I will likely use them again in the future. Access to all of these forms, and there are lots, is worth much more than the subscription price. Highly recommended!

The creation of the document that I needed was easy and straight forward. The lease created looked to be complete, but I would recommend that others having the completed document reviewed by a lawyer or someone experienced with leased. My use does not require the added time or expense. I recommend that users having a need for templates give the product a try.
