If you purchase a dress, and you want to return it - it has to be IN THEIR HANDS within 30 days. This is not the standard return policy of most stores. BEWARE. I purchased four dresses on Dec 23. It arrived on Jan 3rd. I attempted to return ONE DRESS on Jan 21. However, you have to submit your return within 14 days of PURCHASE regardless of when you actually receive it and then pay to ship it back within the 30 days of purchase. This is the most ridiculous return policy I have ever experienced. DO NOT PURCHASE! They said I could no longer return the dress. That was my last purchase ever with this store. HUGELY disappointing.
BUYER BEWARE: I had so much hope ordering from Joyfolie. There were good reviews so I thought I would try. I did not like this dress on me and it was a little big. I initiated a return. I had the package outside (as I paid for them to have it picked up) and no one came. They canceled my return, but then reversed the cancellation. Once they received it, they sent me a message saying that my return was denied for "no reason provided" Well I of course emailed them and they claimed there was hair on the dress and a smell. That was ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE. I tried this on for engagement pictures, didn't like it, and IMMEDIATELY put it back in the original packaging. They sent me a photo that showed maybe a little blonde looking hair? (See photo) and I have dark brown hair. This is absolute robbery. If you need to do a return, good luck. They had the audacity to say I could pay them to have it returned back to me. In the email they also included that I could go buy more items because they are having a sale. Are you kidding? I will never purchase anything from a company that steals from their customers. This was SO disappointing. I would never send back an item for a return that was not in perfect condition. It wasn't even out of the package for 5 mins. Spent over $100 for NOTHING. Lesson learned. Again, I attached the picture they sent me as their "reasoning". It came to me wrinkled like that. Guarantee they will repackage it and sell it. I have never left a negative review on any site before, but this was absurd. NOT WORTH THE RISK.

To clarify, carrier pickups are handled directly by the shipping provider, so while we schedule them, we don’t have control if the driver is unable to collect the package on the expected date. Returns that aren’t picked up within the allotted timeframe are automatically canceled by the system, but once you reached out, we immediately reopened the request so you could still send the item back.
When your return arrived, it went through our standard inspection process. Our warehouse team documented visible hairs, dirt, and a noticeable odor, none of which were previously reported to us. If an item ever arrives in that condition, we encourage customers to notify us right away so we can resolve it.
According to our Return Policy, Section 9, apparel showing hairs, stains, odors, or other signs of wear is not eligible for return. However, despite not meeting eligibility requirements, we still extended a one-time courtesy exception and issued a refund in the form of store credit.

Terrible customer service! Returned a pair of black pants and they refused to refund my money due to a couple of dog hairs on them! Anyone living in a house with animals beware as they could have simply removed to two white dog hairs and refunded my money but after several emails requesting someone call me in regards to the ridiculousness of this, they consistently refused and refused calling me. Not only did they refuse to refund my money, refuse me a phone call about it, they also would not return the product to me without wanting another 38$ to sent it back to me! So after paying to ship it back to them and then back to me I'd paid nearly double for a product that doesn't fit! Do not buy from here!

This website is a scam. Like many other complaints, I returned my item in May (within the 30 days) and three months later I received a notice saying I wouldn't be getting a store credit, because their records showed it was three days outside (it was not). Now they have my item and I don't get a credit! Complete scam! I had honestly forgot about my credit, but their poor service is just unacceptable. Three months later you tell me I won't get a credit!?! Buyer beware!
I have been waiting on a refund for an item I returned that was not used and returned just as I received it. Joyfolie keeps stating that they flagged for review to expedite my refund; however, I have sent several emails to follow-up and I keep getting one excuse after another. Returns are not handled appropriately. Having no customer service phone number is another negative and red flag. Consider other merchants.
Really beautiful fabric from both dresses I purchased, true to the photos, and an easy checkout process.
I don't recommend this company to anyone! I tried before I bought! They charged me full price for all the clothing I returned and then claimed I wore them, even though I just tried them on! You can't talk to anyone other through email! It's such a scam and I'm left with a bill and no clothing!
They told me they have people that thoroughly check the clothing, that's correct I tried it on? The tags were not removed either!

I wasn't sure what I would receive when I purchased my first order. I was renewing my wedding vows and needed dresses and needed them fast. The dresses I purchased were high quality, affordable and very lovely. The shipping was very fast. So much so that I purchased 2 more for the holidays. I highly recommend Joyfolie. If you are on the fence like I was, I can 100% say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Their dresses are cheaply made. Sizes are inconsistent. When you need to return something you will be lucky if you can get your money back or even return at all. I spent $74 on a dress (taxes and shipping) and they are only offering to refund me $54, LESS THAN THE PRICE OF THE DRESS ALONE! This is how they make money. They turn out cheap products and then keep some of your money when you return it. It's a SCAM! *****BUYER BEWARE JOYFOLIE IS A HUGE SCAM*****

I bought a pair of boots to potentially wear to my wedding. The boots themselves are fine and appear to be a decent quality. They just do not work for what I wanted. So I went to return them. Imagine my surprise when I find out they are ineligible for a refund because I used a promotional code. Considering the site immediately offers you a discount code for being a new customer, this seems incredibly back-handed and a bit scam-y. I was only offered a store credit to their site and a pre-paid shipping label if I wanted to return them. I have no desire to buy anything else from them at this point, and I am out $140+ for a pair of boots I will not wear. And considering I'm trying to pay for a wedding, there are much better uses I could put that money to.
They also have a 'try before your buy' option for some of their items, so it just seems insane to me that they cannot 'accommodate' the refund of a pair of boots. In fact, I see the option on the boots I bought, right below the 'Add to Cart' button it says: 'Try up to 8 items at home for 10 days'. And yet because I use a discount code they offered I can't even get a refund? There is also nothing on the product pages that say buying a sale item or using a discount code will disqualify you from refunds. It is the 5th question down on the returns FAQ page, not obvious or highlighted at all.
I would not recommend buying from them.

We started a little rough but once we set-up good communication, the company was wonderful to work with. The dress I had ordered was lost in the mail. The replacement dresses arrived quickly and are beautiful. I would order from this company again.

I purchased 2 dresses for a wedding. The dresses were kept folded in my closet on the top shelf. Each dress was tried on twice.
The wedding was canceled. We had no use For the dresses, they were mad ugly anyway. I sent them back for a return waited over 2 weeks.
First inquiry I was told we didn't receive your return.
Second inquiry while sending proof with my tracking number that they on fact did receive my returns!
They gave me store credit for 44$ for 2 dresses?
Telling me the dresses were damaged? HOW? They literally sat in my closet and were tried on twice
Well then it was... they are past the 30 day return policy and that's why you only get this amount!
This company is horrible!

We order from Joyfolie very often. Too often, in fact lol! The dresses are beautifully styled and high quality. We've only had one issue with an order (and we've had lots of orders!) which was immediately corrected by customer service. We love Joyfolie and love supporting this business.

The clothes look nice on the site, but cheap in reality. The prices do not justify an item that looks like I bought it from shein. To make matters worse, they inundate you with coupons and sales, which seems nice, since the prices are quite high, however, that's where they trick you. Once you use those coupon codes or buy a sale item, you can only return for store credit. Plus, they say on their website that if you return an item in damaged packaging (?, so you cannot even open their thin plastic bag to view the item you purchased) then you will have to pay a $5 restocking fee. So, it's not even worth it to return the items because I do not want store credit; I don't want to buy from them ever again, nor do I want to risk having to pay more for "restocking." What a scam. The clothes look lovely online, but they are cheap quality, looked so tacky in person. Such a disappointment. I feel tricked. Don't buy, don't be sucked in by their sales.
