This little system, used to get access to Gov websites, like the IRS if you want to know about your refund, is painful, and clearly invented by a very young startup. Take a selfie on my phone while I am accessing the system via computer? Hello, I already have a camera on. Take pics of the front and back of my license? Hello, I already carry scans of my passport and license! Can't we just upload them?
It doesn't explain concepts, like it saves a "wallet". What is it and what is it for?
Took me a while to pliw through it, and it reduced my wife to tears trying to use it to check our IRS refund. It gives you a "recover" code with a copy icon, but again, no explanation, or any attempt to differentiate O or 0.

Easy. Seamless. Didn't realized how good it was till I tried logging into MilConnect via their new myAuth—What garbage that is, I'm STILL having issues! ID.me doesn't even live on the same planet. Please tell DMDC MilConnect to $#*!can myAuth and use ID.me. Even the poor tech support guy on the phone sounded exhausted and sick of all the calls of problems with myAuth and said he could only with they had ID.me.
After working with ID.me, I experienced difficulty until I set up new wallet. I had not signed in Social Security with new online changes and found it difficult to retrieve benefit information. Phone representatives are helpful with a video call for assistance. I did not take advantage of it.

Once I spoke with someone and they walked me through the process of the documents and through the questions and pages it helped a lot. They was very great and they was very wonderful about helping me. See yourself explainable things. They taught me a lot during this experience.
My experiences with anything the government puts together is to punish those of us that have to use it. We're coming up with all this bull$#*! you guys desire require changing password can't use the same password. Well then let's get back to the freaking 60s and 50s where there was no damn computer. We didn't have hackers back then you people that rate these programs make a couple million dollars from whomever and then you turn around and sell it to whomever for another million dollars, so they can get into the programs that's my experiences with your guises patterns.
Theyre one of those companies that put you on an error loop with no way out. I wasted over an hour messing with this company. Did everything they told me to. And I just got a circle of error codes that just led to one another. I belive they just threw something together in order to cash out on a government contract. Just collecting money from the government. Also collecting your information to do god knows what. Probably selling it.
As my review title indicates, if you are blind or low vision, you cannot use this website at all. Because the main thing is being able to take a picture of your state or drivers license ID. If you cannot do that, you cannot navigate this website on your own. Very frustrating! I imagine younger people who are really technologically advanced would not have a problem with this website. But I am much older and cannot use vision as a tool, therefore, this was an extremely frustrating website to try to navigate. I definitely needed a side person, who actually was having problems too. If there's another way of using a different website, I'd stay away from this one.
It was easy to set this up. It did not take very long and felt quite secure.
After going through all of the steps multiple times before finally getting to the video verification, I never received the follow on email with final instructions. A significant amount of my time was lost and nothing was accomplished
I have been locked out of my account for over a month and have requested assistance several times but to no avail. I can't even electronically file my taxes now because I can't get my ID.me pin number for my accountant.
Could not log in because ID.ME said they could not verify me by my valid ID, biometric scans, video conference, social security number. Is that enough?
