Unacceptable experience with shipment handling.
Sample ID: IN*******.
Tracking number: IN*******T*******.
The tracking number was valid and actively updating, then suddenly disappeared with no explanation. Since then, there has been no tracking information, no updates, and no response.
I submitted two separate support tickets regarding this issue. The first was on Monday, January 26,2026, and the second on Sunday, February 1,2026.
As of now, nothing has changed. The tracking has not returned, no updates have been provided, and no one from the company has contacted me to explain what happened.
This is not just a delay. This is a complete lack of transparency and accountability, combined with total silence from the company.
I am responsible to other people who requested this sample through me, and due to this situation, I have been placed in a very embarrassing position. I now regret choosing this order, as it has put my reputation and credibility at risk, without any attempt from the company to communicate or clarify the issue.
At this point, I no longer wish to receive replacement samples or continue with this order. Given the lack of resolution and communication, I am politely requesting a full refund of the amount paid.
I am posting this publicly because all private communication attempts have failed.
I signed up with Family Tree DNA and paid for the highest priced test $279) to get the most information. They sent me my results: 95% British Isles. Not British, not Irish, not Scottish, just British Isles. I signed up for Ancestry for $49 and got more information than Family Tree.
I sent emails and tried contacting FT customer service and could not get a reply other than, "sorry, this is all you get."
I recommend going anywhere other than Family Tree DNA. I had more information before I spent $279. The best I can say about them is that they did send me "relatives," but again, I got more out of Ancestry.
