The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Bidding went well. I did bid on a golf cart and it said I was the lead bidder but the auctioneer must've assigned it to someone else.
Being able to determine which items have been won is also very cumbersome, like no way to determine.Unless I'm missing it.
It was ok but something went wrong I had stopped bidding at about 2 or 2250 as I had on all of the others but now I get an invoice for 3450. I don't know what happened
The LIVE Auction kept on having glitches to the point that when I pressed the button it was showing a different number than was being said. Had to call twice about the online glitches and all I was told that's on there end. I am still trying to resolve this as soon as possible because I did not bid that amount.
We’re truly sorry for the trouble you experienced during the live auction, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our team is committed to resolving interface issues and ensuring accurate bidding going forward. Please feel free to reach out directly so we can assist you in correcting your bid and improving your next experience with us.
This was my first experience bidding online. The initial registration process was simple and bidding and setting max bid worked fine. Accessing the Live auction worked flawlessly.
Hi Mark, thank you for sharing your first online bidding experience with us and letting us know what worked well! We're always looking for ways to make the process even smoother, so if you have any suggestions or ran into any challenges beyond registration or live access, we'd love to hear them. Hope to see you in future auctions!
Bidding went good at first, until all of a sudden it kept telling me bid rejected and to refresh the page. It did this on the item I was really waiting for all day, but I bud on others before then. Then later I get an email saying it to do some more verification on me before I could bid again. It should had done all the verification I needed when I signed up, but during an auction when it was on the one item I was even watching the auction for.
I also didn't like being spammed with a call as soon as I sign up bout financing. I see it all over your site. You can send an email or text, but I don't need a call immediately to offer financing.
Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing your honest experience and bringing these concerns to our attention. We appreciate your feedback about the bidding process and communications, and will take it to heart as we work to improve for valued participants like you. Your support means a lot to us.
My experience was really really bad... the items up for auction jumped up so fast I could not get an accurate bid in... there were a box of 50 watchet straps that was up for auction, it was at roughly 65.00... I attempted to bid and when I hit the "unlock bid" tab it had hit $140.00... when my bid was submitted I had a winning bid of $150.00! Way way way more than I would have ever bid... these watchet straps are the same ones you get at harbor freight for $2.75 each... with the buyers premium and the sales tax its $180.00! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE... honestly. I will advise people to NEVER partake of one of these types of auctions...
Dear Frank, thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the bidding process was frustrating and understand how bidding limits and fees can impact your overall experience—your input helps us improve and support our bidders better in the future. We’re committed to transparency and appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us.
There needs to be a clear option regarding WON items. When buyers are bidding on multiple lots, there seems to be no clear indication of lots won.
Well bidding was fine but your auctioneer overcharged us 12 percent plus 12 percent for online bidding it's joke
I won't use it anymore
(ACTUALLY THIS IS FOR POWER AUCTION IN BROWNTOWN WISCONSIN, they got this review, they work trough EQUIPMENT FACT ONLINE PLATFORM, so don't go to this auction they are greedy
I expect equipment fact to reach out to them and let them know there's unhappy customers, not only me, bunch of my friends don't go there anymore.
Dragan, thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We appreciate that bidding went smoothly but understand your concerns about the fees, as we aim to balance transparency with providing a seamless bidding experience. The seller doesn't work for us and they are responsible for ANY fees you are charged.
My buttons in the screen lagged behind what the auctioneer was saying. I thought I had a item and he asked if I wanted to take both item, while I was trying to figure out how to do that he sold both out from under me to a floor bidder who was a pal of his I am sure., this was the two dump carts on tracks that was at the end of the auction. The auctioneer was a guy in a black cowboy hat. I lost out on both. I was upset.
I've used Equipmentfacts 5 times over the last 3 years and have recommended it to friends for and easy and convenient way to buy at auction. It is the only online auction site I use.
Michael, we truly appreciate your continued trust and recommendations over the years. It means a lot to us that our auction platform remains your go-to choice for a convenient experience. Thank you for being such a valued part of our community!
Bidding with equipment facts went good and probably give a five star but it was who I bought through was where it all went wrong. After buying the platform I soon realized the pictures of the platform that I bid on was not the platform I received. They had the wrong pictures online that was of a different head. I tried to talk to the auction company and she was very helpful but the one who messed up would not help out. Stating that the platform was very nice and worth way more than I paid. But everyone values their stuff higher than the market is. In the end I'm very upset that a company could snake their way out and sell something online with different pictures. Deal or no deal it may cost me 4 thousand to get the right mount then who knows what the gear box will cost.
They scammed me and should be held countable in court. Polk auction/ Polk equipment.
Justin, we're truly sorry to hear about the mix-up with the platform pictures and the frustration it’s caused. We appreciate your honest feedback and genuinely want to make things right—please reach to the seller out so they can address this directly and find a solution for you. We'll also let them know!
Overall a good experience. I was the description on equipment and vehicles were a little more in depth. Some vehicles had videos of them running and driving and some did not.
Thank you for the feedback, Matt!
Was bidding on line. Everything was nice, except, one of the auctioneers was very hard to understand. Maybe the live version was better.
It was excellent but confusing at the same time trying to figure out my watch items list and when they are coming up for bid.
Thank you for the feedback, Todd! See you next sale.
It was good, worked well. Don't much care for choice when there are several of the same product. I see some people don't do their research and overpay then the rest of us lose out from getting a chance to get one of the items. Also, I don't know if i won. I seemed to have had the option of choosing another and took only one. But nowhere does it say I won the bid and have not received an email, invoice or call and i was sure that I won the Bid for one of the IRMC tricycle golf carts. TY
Thank you for the feedback, Charles!
Online bidding was difficult. Lot numbers were out of order. If you bid, couldn't tell if you had the winning bid. Estimated sale times were off by hours!
Thank you for your honest feedback, Robert. We apologize for the confusion you experienced with online bidding and estimated sale times, and we’re actively working to improve ease of navigation and real-time updates to enhance your future auctions with us. Your input is invaluable as we strive to create a smoother bidding experience moving forward.
Had a little trouble with online bidding process made a call and had it explained immediately. An option to receive a phone call to be alerted to your item is coming up would be nice. Sometimes I ignore or don't catch notifications
Ernest, thank you for your thoughtful feedback and letting us know how we could improve the bidding experience. We’re glad the phone support clarified things for you and will certainly pass along the helpful suggestion about advance phone alerts to our team. We appreciate you taking the time to share and look forward to making upcoming auctions even smoother.
I had a proxy bid for over $2000 on an excavator bucket and the bid did not go through. I got a notice that the lot was going to start bidding in 10 lots and it's sold at the sale for $230 and my proxy bid never got used.
Thank you, Danial, for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely appreciate your feedback, and we're committed to improving our process to ensure bidding goes smoothly for buyers every time. I did review the bid history for the bucket in question and I didn't see any pre-bids for the Item. If you placed a bid on Proxibid, that would be a different platform than EF.
Just to get registered was NOT user friendly! It was a lot of back and forth, but I jumped through all your hoops and was finally registered to bid! Placed a few pre auction bids to double check I was really good to go. 10hrs into the auction, what I'd waited all day to really get finally came up only to have the site glitch for a "click here" error not once but twice and the choice lots were all gone at a lower price than I was willing to pay! Beyond frustrating! Now I'm stuck in limbo of "not having permission" when trying to pay so I have to now be inconvenienced by getting ahold of the auctioneer! Probably never bother with you again!
Carissa, we sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience you encountered during registration and bidding. Your feedback is hearing loud and clear, and we're working to make the process smoother and to resolve technical issues quickly. Thank you for your patience, and we hope to provide a much better experience should you decide to give us another chance in the future.
Bidding is fine, speed is good, communication with auction officials during auction needs attention. Did not receive a response to a question until the next day. Also, auctioneers really favor on-site bidders, it should be kept unbiased.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We'll let the seller know. We’re exploring ways to improve responsiveness and ensure fairness so everyone feels confident during the bidding process. Looking forward to providing a smoother experience in the future sessions.
AS a first time user of this system, I thought the whole process went great! Not knowing I had to wait until the end of the auction, allowed me to pick up an item that i was unaware of, and being sick in bed this is a great option. Just waiting, on my invoice.
Thanks A lot! I'll use you again!
Sincerely
Bret, thank you so much for sharing your experience and kind words. We're thrilled to hear the auction worked well for you, especially when you were resting at home. Looking forward to helping you again in the future!

Hi Bruce, thank you for sharing your experience—I'm glad the bidding went smoothly overall. We’re always looking to improve our platform, and your feedback about winner notifications and item clarity is really helpful. We’ll take a closer look so future auctions are even easier to navigate!
