Cheaperthandirt.com used to be an awesome company and resource. Super affordable and decent quality. Prices have skyrocketed… For the one of 12 days Christmas sale they actually offered their branded hat for $8. Well merry f——ing christmas. I've always needed a stupid hat with your brand on it. Lol. The other daily specials were a joke as well. Stop being greedy. You had a good thing going.

It seems Cheaper than Dirt only carries made in China. I purchased a tactical leg holster that adjust as to carry a large cal auto with a light and laser set up. When it arrives at first looks ok. Upon inspection I found that the only thing that keeps the pistol from falling though the holster is a vel strap. Once this wears, about 3 weeks, gun falls through.If you order from these guys, stick to ammo.If anyone is interested I havethree new leg holsters. Made in China... FREE. ONe Star. They did ship it.

First time I ever ordered through cheaper than dirt, I waited for a week and a half to receive an empty package.
A bunch of adds and a sticker was in the envelope, but no magazine for my SIG P290rs.
Got it on a Saturday so I guess I have to wait til Monday to even talk to anyone.
I would not recommend them to anyone.
You know what they say about first impressions.
It is beyond me how someone could forget to mail the item a customer ordered.
Maybe they should worry about shopping the item and not worry about advertising for other people.

Cheaper Than Dirt is quite a brand name that depicts the product and service that you will receive from this online company. I recently purchased a new concealed carry firearm to fit my ankle holster and was shipped a Used and Defective one instead. When I contacted their customer No Service department, the agent was obtuse and extremely mal mannered and tried to shift the blame on the customer for their poor business practices.

They refused to fix their problem and exchange the used item for a new one item. They basically said tuff luck buddy, youre on your own!

Save yourself a tremendous headache and avoid this company at all cost. Cheaper Than Dirt cannot be trusted as a reputable online business and should change their name to Piece of Dirt! = /

Shipping is why I chose other in the category for my review. I basically picked out 3 (20 round) boxes of ammo (223), a 6 oz one point bungee sling, a 3 oz mag coupler, and 13 oz stock with pistol grip combo. My total was around $174 and shipping was a whopping $47. I went live chat and explained that I had my own ups account and would like to use it bcuz I knew this shipping was inflated by at least 60-70%. I was told no way. So I told them what I knew as a business owner. That if my shipping was 70% lower than theirs and they ship 1000 times more items than I do that their shipping prices were only there to enhance the margins on their products which are supposedly cheaper than dirt. Dont be fooled by this. If you use the company, order one box of ammo at a decent price and see what the shipping rate is if u dont believe my review. Total rip off. And I have the online chat via email to prove my point if anyone is skeptical.

The good: I've never had a problem with an order. It has always arrived within 7 or 8 days and has always been correct.

The bad: shipping costs are much higher than they should be. I live in CA and they won't ship many CA legal items there including some gun holsters, CA legal pepper spray, and many more items. Instead of doing their research, they just refuse to ship many legal items to CA. By the time you include shipping charges to ammo prices, the prices aren't very good anymore.

I tried to place an order from Cheaper than dirt through their website for a couple magazines, the order did not go through but they charged me anyway. I called customer service and they told me it was declined, however I called my credit card company and they said the order was approved, which was also showing approved on my cards transaction history. The customer service lady at CTD seemed sketchy and was trying to get my card number when I contacted them again to send a receipt of declination to get my money back. The whole experience had the stench of a scam. Do yourself a favour and avoid these con artists.

Once again, falsely advertising a product they either did not have or would not honor the price on. I'm not sure if they are totally incompetent when it comes to inventory or completely unethical. Maybe they are trying to drive people to their site or using these deceptive orders that they cancel as a cash flow system since it takes time to get a refund.
Either way, this company is as "Worthless as Dirt" and you are a fool if you trust them.
