I received an email from Billdesk that said I owed $309 for a purchase made. A link was provided and a telephone number. I called the number but not from the email. The woman said the purchase was made through Paypal but I haven't use Paypal in over ten years. She said it was a hack and transferred me to Chase. Not really Chase but a very good copy. Long story, she sent me to another Indian and eventually I asked for the lawyer with Chase. Turned out he was an Indian and then I noticed the gas station was owned by Indians. My gut said, no more, and I stopped at a Chase branch. The hackers had a number of ways to sound legit but a Bitcoin "wallet" is not something Chase would endorse.
