I was worried about hidden fees but it is pretty clear how the credits work. I use them when i want and dont get charged randomly. The response from the conversation is amazing
Most profiles I click on actually have stuff written in them instead of just blank space or one emoji. It makes it way easier to start a talk with someone when you know they like dogs or hiking or whatever. Bestdates seems to have a good crowd, there are plenty of friendly people here. I'll be interested in seeing how it progresses.
I stayed away for a while because Bestdates reviews were all over the place and I couldn't tell if it was legit but it's actually fine for meeting people. The interface is a bit of a headache at first though.
I signed up last week and mostly it's just fine. The people respond back which is more than I can say for other places I tried. No weird glitches on my phone either. Everything you need you can find on the page, like Profile buttton and so on, very good layout
Finally a place where I'm not getting bombarded with nonsense right away. Its nice to just browse for a bit without a million popups. Bestdates is better than the last three apps i tried honestly
It wasn't the best experience. The app overall is good. But the charging mode and the rules are not clear for a new one. Seems like a trap. So I didn't have the best experience
Being after my wife passed away two years ago I just stayed inside most of the time. My daughter told me to find a hobby but i am not good at woodworking or things like that. I found Bestdates and it is different than the sites i used in the nineties. I was worried about being tricked because you hear stories about older men losing their savings but i just take it slow. I feel a bit more connected to the world without having to go to a loud bar
I've received pictures that were obviously of models, some were close to being simi-porn or very suggestive. I want honesty, not phony, made up pictures. I'm 83 years old and don't want pictures of some very young women----one was only 18 years old. I have grand childern older than that.
I assumed this site would not send semi-porn pictures or messages from teenagers. Many of the pictures are not current, but were taken many years ago. Other pictures seem to be of models Finally, blocked sites are not blocked.
I've had three meaningful conversations this week and nobody feels like they are reading from a script. It is refreshing to have a platform that doesn't feel like a game. The only downside is that the mobile version freezes up sometimes when I'm trying to scroll fast

Navigation is pretty predictable and i didnt have any issues with stuff crashing or resetting on me. Bestdates seems alright for meeting folks outside my usual circle

I'm usually pretty skeptical with these things but so far it's good. The profiles look real and I haven't run into those annoying bot accounts that usually plague these sites. Just talked to a nice girl from Poland during my lunch break today which was really cool. And it's fast too, message delivery is fantastic
