She listened to our needs and located a facility that was perfect for my sister. Close to her son. Arranged for a virtual tour. Sister is happy and so are we.

We were trying to find short term (or respite living) for my husband's sister. She had to leave Presbyterian Homes Feb. 18th, and we were in a bind to find a residence for her. Amber came into the picture and was an immense help (and that underestimates what she did). The sister is now residing in Burnsville Carefree Living. Amber arranged for my husband and daughter to go to the facikity, speak with a coordinator there and essentially moved in on the 18th. Awhile the sister has been somewhat challenging she is in a beautiful room and is well cared for.

I never would have known about the facility we now have our sister in. We didn't even know that she could afford an assisted living placement. So Jill was a wealth of information for us and for that I am truly grateful.

My families situation was constantly changing and A Place for Mom was there to help at each step. They walked me through all the steps & answered all my questions which ultimately led us to find a great assisted living option for my Mom after my Dad passed away.

A Place for Mom provided our family with multiple options for independent living with graduated care and helped us to schedule visits. The overall experience was good, but 3 of the 6 facilities recommended did not have an independent living as an option and the facility we selected ended up being a facility that we asked the representative to add. As noted in other reviews limit the number of places added to your list and remember A Place for Mom is being paid by the matched site. The facilities are not always thrilled when you are working with A Place for Mom.

We were assisted by Catherine Huber when my husband was hospitalized after a very bad fall at home.
He injured his eye and is currently still blind in it. Additionally, he broke his arm. We knew we would need help at home and Catherine came through for us by locating a company that offered home visits with experienced care givers. She took a big burden away from us and we are grateful.

I was looking for a place to take my sister. I just happened upon this site. While asking for help, my phone rang and it was person from a Place for Mom. They had so much help already on the way. Once I expressed my need I had a list of places to visit. That helped so much. Once I had several places I liked I became so confused. I called Amy and expressed my confusion. She helped me think about my choice and agreed that I'd made a good choice, I'm so thankful to have found their site.

Called and they were very quick to react because my Dads move was an emergency move. Alicia and Q were very responsive and the picks were good fit for my Dad. Ended up choosing one from their list.

From the very first conversation, the experience with A Place For Mom, made our search for my MIL so much easier and helped with this huge decision. They were helpful throughout the entire experience.

We needed a place for my dad that was very close to us. A Place for Mom recommended a few. We looked at three, all of which were close and very nice, and settled on one. A Place for Mom made it very easy.

A Place for Mom helped me find the right fit for a dear friend that needed a community that wasn't too big or small. When my previously 100% healthy 80 year-old mother suddenly had a stroke, I had no idea what to do, who to ask, or where to go. I simply google searched "assisted living facilities" and APFM came up. I simply filled out their info request form and within minutes had a live person calling me asking what they could do to help. I had no idea what came next. APFM staff was understanding, kind, patient and gave me many options and lots of information. Ultimately, I put mom and stepdad in a lovely facility close to where they were already living. They are cared for safe, warm and healthy there. APFM helped me navigate uncharted Waters. There was no charge for their services. They just helped. I couldn't ask for more thank you so much APFM.

This is actually the 2nd time I've used their services.
Now I'm helping my sister with her move from an independent living home in Tulsa OK (A place for mom assisted with this in 2022) to an independent living home in Las Cruces NM.
I was able to connect with Amber, who was my original coordinator and, as usual, she sent me all, the information I needed to locate a home for my sister in Las Cruces. She also arranged a couple of tours for me.
I really appreciate her patience with me because I felt so scattered.
I tell anyone who will listen to utilize A PLACE FOR MOM when they are looking to help someone.
