I know people who like margin separately, and same with options. And I know some that do both - it's me. Haha, but in reality, you just gotta find what's the best for you. The only proven way to do so I open a demo account and try out these approaches, trade on options, trade margin and combine and see the resutls. You need some data tho, not talking about like 5 minutes trading with them, the more info you have the better your conclusions are going to be. Some of the assets can be better for swap trading, some maybe bettere for scalping, its on your strategy as well/ As long as you are profitable and stable, doesnt matter which mode you trade, or how you trade.

Well, I do both, however more emphasis goes to CFD trading... here is why:

Optioins trading is not for all, even me with 7 yrs of trading xp, I dont get this quick trading stlyle. On the surface it looks like quite doable, you have good % payout (good thing from the broker btw), and u just need to predcit the price withing short period... but u see, some news can pop up, or some market unexpected activity and it can swing the price in another direction.
Also, with options u can be right, but once the time expires...

Therefore, I prefer CFD instruments. Here, as long as the set up is there, I enter the trade. What is good is that there are many assets available from IQ Option. And the spreads are pretty tight. Same goes for swaps - pretty normal. FOr instance, take amazon stock: - 0.0438% and -0.0301%... quite good
